Saudi Arabia has replaced central bank governor Fahad Al Mubarak, bringing to an end his second stint in the role.
Al Mubarak, a former Morgan Stanley banker, has been replaced by vice governor for investment and research Ayman Alsayari, according to the state-run Saudi Press Agency.Â
Al Mubarak was also governor from 2011 to 2016, and was reappointed to the role in January 2021.
