The attacks by the Iranian-made Shahed drones likely targeted crucial infrastructure and military targets in western Ukraine, including the 12th attack on Kyiv this month. Air-raid sirens went off across the country.
European allies aim to finalize plans as soon as June to start training Ukrainian pilots on F-16 fighter jets, Denmark’s acting defense minister said, after the US gave its support.
