(Bloomberg) — Former President Donald Trump has been indicted for a third time, with federal prosecutors unsealing charges over his efforts to overturn the 2020 election results.

Special Counsel Jack Smith is investigating Trump’s actions in the aftermath of the presidential election, including the insurrection at the US Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021.
Trump faces four charges including conspiracy to defraud the US, conspiracy to obstruct an official proceeding, obstruction of and attempting to obstruct an official proceeding, and conspiracy against rights, according to the indictment filed Tuesday in federal court.
