NAIROBI (Reuters) – The Kenyan shilling was steady against the dollar on Thursday as diaspora dollar inflows matched importer demand, one trader said.
The shilling traded at 128.50/129.50 against the dollar at 0715 GMT, according to LSEG data, the same as Wednesday’s closing rate.
“We don’t expect much movement ahead of the weekend,” the trader said.
