BENGALURU (Reuters) – Indian two-wheeler maker TVS Motor on Thursday said it would enter the European market through an import-and-distribution agreement with Emil Frey.
TVS said in a statement the Switzerland-based firm would distribute eight models, including the iQube S electric scooter and Apache RR 310 motorcycle, starting with France in January 2024.
TVS has been expanding its retail presence in export markets across southeast Asia and even the United Arab Emirates over the last few years.
The company’s share of two-wheeler exports has been steadily rising. TVS exports formed 15% of the total in fiscal 2022, 21% in fiscal 2023 and stands at 24% from April-October this fiscal year, industry data showed.
