Magnitude 5.3 earthquake strikes Afghanistan-Tajikistan border region -GFZ

(Reuters) – An earthquake of magnitude 5.3 struck the Afghanistan-Tajikistan border region on Wednesday, the German Research Center for Geosciences (GFZ) said.

The quake was at a depth of 109 km (67.73 miles), GFZ said.
