(Bloomberg) — The Miro oil refinery in southwest Germany is limiting deliveries of heating oil and gasoline to some customers, according to two people familiar with the matter.Â
The refinery is Germany’s second-largest oil-processing complex, after Shell Plc’s Rhineland plant. Miro has been running at reduced capacity since late December, when a crude-processing unit stopped, according to Wood Mackenzie.Â
A Miro spokeswoman couldn’t be reached by phone Wednesday for comment and didn’t immediately respond to an email.
The refinery will stop loadings of heating oil onto trucks from Wednesday through early next week, one person said. Some barge shipments of gasoline via the Rhine River have been canceled since the end of last week, the second person said.Â
