(Bloomberg) — The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill told students to resume normal activities after reports of an armed and dangerous person on or near campus forced a lockdown for more than an hour.
The campus warning followed a fatal shooting on campus last month as classes were beginning for the semester that forced a lockdown for hours. A graduate student was charged with first-degree murder in the killing of an associate professor in the applied physical sciences department.
